Resources

IN THE GDR AND ACROSS EMORY UNIVERSITY you will find a wealth of resources relating to most aspects of graduate student careers.

A few programs or other items might fit under more than one category.  Here are some:

  • Advanced Student Fellowships (Dean's Teaching and others) are both about academic progress and about funding.
  • TATTO is both an academic requirement and a program designed to enhance professional skills.  You will find a link describing the program in the left hand column.
  • Commencement is not exaclty about completing one's degree, but you will find the commencement page under Academic Progress and Degree Completion on the Graduate School website.

One particular resource is mentioned on a number of pages, and if you are a new student we have one important message about it:

Use OPUS!

OPUS is the university’s online student information system. It allows you to access your schedule, grades, fee bills, and your financial aid information.

Check OPUS each semester to ensure accuracy in scheduling, registration, and billing.  Make sure that when you move or change phone numbers you also update OPUS.

For assistance with OPUS issues, use the online help provided on the OPUS website or call the IT help desk at 404-727-7777.
